WEDNESDAY STUDY
“Many people who try to fight racism waste time and effort because they do not know or understand racism” - Dr. Paul Lehman.

It is not too late to join Intern-Deacon Todd Olberding and Dr. Paul Lehman, author and St. Augustine’s member, at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesdays via Zoom in August, for an in-depth discussion on how to address the myth of race, in response to a study of Robin DeAngelo’s book – White Fragility. The hope, is that these discussions will ultimately lead us to finding tangible actions towards a solution.  Please contact Todd at tsolberding@gmail.com or 405-326-9037 to sign up and for more information on getting a free copy of the book and other details.
CLEANING AND SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE
Our friends at Angie Debo Elementary School on N. May Avenue are preparing for the upcoming school year and need our help. They are in great need of cleaning supplies and school supplies. Please help by dropping off the following items at St. Augustine M-F 9am-1pm: Hand sanitizer, Lysol or other disinfecting wipes, Lysol/Disinfecting Spray, Expo (dry erase) markers, crayons, markers, glue sticks, spiral notebooks, large pink erasers and scissors or consider donating $20 which will purchase one of each of the above items for the school.
The deadline is August 30th. Email memberengagement@sac-okc.org for more details or to make a donation today.
