A “GOING AWAY FOR NOW” GIFT
With Deacon Robby’s departure from St. Augustine’s to complete his field work assignment at St. James-OKC, let’s say “farewell for now” with a financial gift for his discretionary fund—money used to assist those in need. You can contribute by check with “Deacon Robby” in the memo line, electronically with “Deacon Robby” in the Subject Line, or of course, cash in an envelope with the same designation noted.

MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT: EUCHARISTIC ASSISTANTS
The Eucharistic Assistants Team at Saint Augustine is made up adults, mature teens and even children serving as an acolyte who may help with extra responsibilities. Eucharistic Assistants robe for the service, process in with the clergy, and serve at and around the altar during worship. You may see a Eucharistic Assistant carry the silver cross (Crucifer), assist with communion, ring the Sanctus (altar) Bells, collect the offering basket to bring to the altar, and much more. Eucharistic Assistants are a perfect team to serve on because you can volunteer while you're already at church, and you serve on a team. Win-win! In-depth and ongoing training and support is always provided to help those serving feel comfortable and confident. We'd love to see you on the team! If you're curious about the Eucharistic Assistants Ministry and would like to hear more or volunteer, contact Ricky Womack at email@example.com.
