ANNOUNCEMENTS

WEEK OF NOVEMBER 22 AT ST. AUGUSTINE OF CANTERBURY EPISCOPAL CHURCH, OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA

LAS POSADAS – TO GO ENCHILADA LUNCH
As is our tradition with Las Posadas, we will offer a delicious meal before we send the Holy Couple on their journey. This year, out of an abundance of caution, we will offer a first come, first serve, lunch of to-go enchiladas on the First Sunday of Advent, November 28th at 12:00pm. Choices available are: cheese, chicken, and beef. We encourage you to get them while they are HOT!
STATIONS OF THE NATIVITY
During the season of Advent please join Fr. Joseph on Wednesdays, December 1st to 22nd, at 11:00am as together we pray the Stations of the Nativity in preparation for Christmas.

YOUR LIFE, YOUR LEGACY - PLAN TO MAKE IT RIGHT
Make plans to attend an Adult Forum on December 5th & 12th at 9:35am. Planning for life’s big events such as weddings, graduations and retirements is something most of us happily undertake.  Unfortunately, we are not as enthusiastic about planning ahead to best ease the impact of your passing on your loved ones. Putting final arrangements and estate plans into place is one of the greatest gifts you can give your family -- for their peace of mind and yours. Join our own Jeanne Lowrey, Family Service Advisor at Rose Hill Burial Park & Hahn-Cook/Street and Draper Funeral Directors, and Sarah Stewart, Estate Planning Attorney, as we have a candid discussion regarding plans for facing the reality of passing away.

ADVENT CONVERSATIONS
Students in Grades 6th to 12th and their adults are invited to join us December 5th, 12th, and 19th at 9:43am for a 3 week series that helps us to hurry up and slow down. Join us as we intentionally take a break and talk about what the season of Advent and Christmas is really about. If you’d like to sign up or have any questions please contact Fr. Lance at 405-476-2633 or fatherlance@sac-okc.org.

LESSONS AND CAROLS
Join us on December 5th at 5:30pm for a service of Advent Lessons and Carols with choral selections and congregational hymn singing led by our Artist-In-Residence, Bella Voce, under the direction of Dr. Vicki Schaeffer and accompanied by our Organist John Potter. Reception will follow.
