PRAYER JOURNEY WITH FR. TONY MOON
Fr. Tony will guide us on a seven-week Prayer Journey prior to and during Lent.  We will begin with the background and value of the ancient prayer method, Lectio Divina (Divine Reading).  A unique focus will be placed on Centering Prayer and our own sacred writing or sacred drawing as part of a prayer practice.  Attend one or all of these seven Sunday morning sessions.  February 13 - March 27, 9:35 am - 10:20 am.

GOOD NEWS GARDEN PLANNING MEETING
Dear Friends of Creation Care, we are so excited and encouraged that you have expressed interest in helping the St. Augustine community live out our commitment to preserving and caring for God’s creation.  Our next step will be to gather briefly at two identical info sessions - 9:30 am or 12:30 pm on Sunday, February 20th, to discuss starting a Good News Garden at the church.  Please stay in touch and email innerpeacepastor@aol.com with your ideas about how we can make a difference in responding to Climate Change and being better Stewards of God’s Creation.  Mark and Judy Heaney, Creation Care Ministries

CREATION CARE - ONE MEATLESS MEAL
As part of our church-wide Creation Care efforts, we are encouraging our Community of Faith to  choose one meal a week and go meatless.  Why?  Did you know just one meatless meal weekly saves up to 133 gallons of water and 24 square feet of land!  THIS WEEK we’ve shared a recipe for a warm veggie soup on our church social media.  You can also always try a meatless chilli (yum!) or go the ‘comfort food’ route with some tomato soup and a grilled cheese.  We’ll be back next week with another  meal suggestion, and thanks for trying ONE MEATLESS MEAL with your St. Augustine family and friends as we love God’s creation.

HELPERS NEEDED SUNDAY FEB. 28

Calling all able bodied helpers!  Susan Shebester, Fr. Joesph and Team need many able bodied helpers to assist in the Nave (Sanctuary) following the 10:45 service on Sunday, Feb. 28 to prepare our worship space for Lent.  The project won’t take long, and lunch will be provided.  Please email memberengagement@sac-okc.org for more details or to RSVP.

MARDI GRAS WITH THE MAGI
