LADIES FELLOWSHIP EVENT
Ladies, mark your calendars for Saturday, Aug 28th from 8:30am - 3:30pm at City Presbyterian Church (829 NW 13th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73106) as King's Cross Church partners with City Presbyterian church and Church Ablaze to host IF: Local.  It will be a wonderful time of teaching, worship, and fellowship. The theme is 'Even If.' Even if the worst happens, we don’t lose hope. Come join us as we remember that together.  To sign up or for more information, Click HERE.
A “GOING AWAY FOR NOW” GIFT
With Deacon Robby’s departure from St. Augustine’s to complete his field work assignment at St. James-OKC, let’s say “farewell for now” with a financial gift for his discretionary fund—money used to assist those in need. You can contribute by check with “Deacon Robby” in the memo line, electronically with “Deacon Robby” in the Subject Line, or of course, cash in an envelope with the same designation noted.

CUB SCOUTS - JOIN PACK 101
Saint Augustine's Cub Scout Pack 101 will launch their new scouting year on Tuesday, August 17 at 6:30pm in our Parish Hall. Pack 101, under the leadership of Rick Inselman, welcomes both boys and girls in grades K-5th, and meets Tuesdays at 6:30 throughout the school year. Contact sfhobo@yahoo.com to sign up or receive more details.
SAC MINISTRIES COULD USE YOUR HELP!
If you are interested in becoming more involved in the Church, please reach out to us! As a Greeter, Usher, Eucharistic Minister, Lector or other volunteering opportunities you could help add to wonderful experience each person has from the moment they enter the church, until the moment the leave. Please contact office@sac-okc.org to let us know you would like to help!

ONLINE GIVING CHANGES
We are making a change to our online giving platform. We will be transitioning from Tithe.ly to an online giving feature that ties directly into our church database software, Breeze Church Management. We are currently using the Tithe.ly app. Instructions for using the new process are on new cards placed in the back of the seats in the Nave.

If you have been or would like to make electronic payments through the church web site, the change has already been made and will be exactly the same as always: Click on the “Donate” button on the home page and complete the donation information at the bottom of that page.

If you would like to give through your smartphone, the new instructions are as follows:
  • Text the amount you would like to contribute (for example: 50 or $50) to 405-645-6608. (This is a new phone number.)
  • Type “bit.ly/GiveSAC” into your browser and follow the instructions you receive. You will be given the option to enter the amount of your gift and select a purpose, i.e., pledge, plate, Youth, Brotherhood, etc. There is a place for a special note about your contribution, if necessary, and the opportunity to cover the 3% processing fee so the church will realize the full amount of your gift. You can even set up regular payments if you wish.
That’s it! You’re all set to make contributions any time.

(You are also always welcome to give by placing cash or check directly in the plate as it is passed, or within one of the offering envelopes located in the chair backs.)

Father Joseph will be on vacation until September 7th. For pastoral emergencies, please contact Fr. Tony Moon (canontony@sac-okc.org or 405-820-9105), Deacon Robby Trammell (deaconrobby@sac-okc.org or 405-740-4104) or Fr. Lance Schmitz (fatherlance@sac-okc.org or 405-476-2633).
