LENTEN ADULT BIBLE STUDY
TODAY, March 3rd, at11:00am, we continue our six week Lenten Study, offered on Zoom. This forum will be exploring the events of Holy Week through the lens of the Gospel texts, artwork and insights of world-renowned biblical scholars and professors of preaching at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology. Through the power and beauty of art and sacred texts, the Passion story will come alive. If you were unable to attend the first class, contact office@sac-okc.org for more information or to sign up. We would love to have you join us!

EVENING LENTEN PROGRAM
Lectio Divina (Divine Reading) via Zoom continues on Wednesday evenings of Lent, 7:00 p.m. Learn the process of listening for God’s message to you through sacred texts. You need not attend the whole series to participate. Join by emailing the Church Office (office@sac-okc.org) to receive a Zoom link.

LENTEN OUTREACH: EASTER MEALS FOR THE HOMELESS
In our ongoing efforts to help feed the hungry, we have set a goal of providing 700 meals this Easter. Despite the pandemic, we are confident that during this season of Lent the people of St. Augustine will help reach this goal. It is a great way for us to honor our crucified and risen Lord by sharing his love with homeless families making sure they have food to eat on Easter Sunday! Here is the list of food items we will be gathering each week of Lent:
  • Feb. 28 -- Sliced bread (any brand or type for sandwiches).
  • March 7 -- Sliced cheese (any brand or type for sandwiches).
  • March 14 -- Luncheon meat/cold cuts (any brand or type for sandwiches).
  • March 21 -- Chips (Snack/lunch box size, any brand or type).
  • March 28 -- Apples (any type, amount).
Please drop off your items weekly at the church entrance placing them in the plastic containers labeled "Lenten Outreach Items." We will be collecting all items throughout the Outreach if you wish to bring your donations all at once: water, sliced bread, sliced cheese, luncheon meat/cold cuts, chips and apples. Thanks in advance for all your help!

ENHANCE OUR EASTER WORSHIP
Many of us associate Easter with new life and Spring, as things begin to bud and everything turns a fresh shade of green.  Maybe you would like to remember a loved one,  or honor someone with flowers that will be used to enhance our worship as we celebrate the risen Christ.

If you wish to contribute a financial gift to cover the expense  towards flowers & guest musicians for our Easter celebrations, you may do so by sending an email to the church, office@sac-okc.org or on our online signup page, https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040444ABAB2DA2FF2-flowers.
