What do you love about SAC? “There are so many aspects about this congregation that I love. If I had to choose one thing, I’d say that I love that this community is so engaged with the work of Jesus in the world. Many of our parishioners selflessly go into our larger community to serve and meet the needs of others. This is a blessing for me to witness!“
What inspires you? “The Gospel has always inspired me, but it especially inspires me in this congregation because I see us responding to the teachings of Jesus through our love for one another. As a community we really ‘strive to bring joy to God’s heart,’ as our Vision statement proclaims.”
What made you decide to get involved in ministry work? “Serving and developing others is a life-long ambition of mine and a deeply held core value. Before my full-time commitment to ministry, I had two careers that focused around this theme of service and development: counseling and organizational development. Both had to do with our evolution and improvement. Becoming new beings is at the heart of the Gospel and my spiritual quest.”
